We are more than a network. We are a global, open, and transdisciplinary community of scholars, professionals, and curious minds who believe that Knowledge Management is not just a field of study, it’s a lens through which we can understand, interpret, and transform the world around us.
Rooted in Italy, Connected to the World
IGCKM was born in Italy, powered by the enthusiasm and vision of over 400 young scholars from diverse fields, including accounting, management, finance, organisation, banking, and economic history, and representing more than 60 Italian universities. What began as a national initiative with the first edition of the Annual Conference, held in Ancona at Università Politecnica delle Marche in July 2023, quickly evolved into a global movement with the second edition hosted by the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in May 2024. United by the belief that knowledge, when shared and cultivated collectively, can generate meaningful impact, IGCKM continues to grow as a space of collaboration, exploration, and innovation. Our Italian roots ground us in a rich tradition of critical thinking and cultural openness, while our perspective remains resolutely global and future-oriented.
